Would You Watch This is a creative card game where you make movies in a single sentence.

The game centers around players creating movies by combining 4 cards: Catalyst, Hero, Conflict, and Goal. Here’s a quick example:

After running out on their wedding (Catalyst), a social media influencer (Hero) must drive aminivan across a wasteland (Conflict) to get married (Goal) starring Sydney Sweeney (Talent).

Easy, right? Now it’s time to create your own movie magic!

Would You Watch This is ideal for 3 to 8 players, making it perfect for both small gatherings and larger game nights with friends and family.

But if you have more or fewer players than that, that’s all good too! We’ve designed alternate rules to make the game fun for 2 players or as many as you like by splitting into teams!

The Core Deck includes 275 unique cards:

  • 50x Catalysts
  • 50x Heroes
  • 50x Conflicts
  • 50x Goals
  • 25x Plot Twists

We know that everyone’s taste in movies and TV shows is unique, which is why we are releasing genre-specific Expansion Packs to enhance your Core Deck and let you tell the stories you love.

1x Expansion Pack includes 60 unique cards:

  • 15x Catalysts
  • 15x Heroes
  • 15x Conflicts
  • 15x Goals

Would You Watch This is recommended for ages 13 and above.

Getting started with Would You Watch This is super easy. You’ll learn the game and be having fun with family and friends within minutes of opening the box.

Absolutely! One of the beauties of Would You Watch This is its versatility.

Players can take the simple structure of combining cards to make movies and play whichever way they have the most fun… Want to pitch your movie to the group? Fan vote for the best movie? Act out the trailer? These are only a few of the options.

Let your imagination run wild!

Would You Watch This is printed on paper and cardboard, using no plastic components, reflecting our commitment to quality and sustainability. As we learn and continue to grow our business, we will ensure to make each part of the process as eco-friendly as possible.

A game of Would You Watch This lasts around 45 minutes, but with a few expansion packs, or even just shuffling the discarded cards, the fun can last for as long as you like!

Core Deck: The main deck to enjoy the complete Would You Watch This experience with plenty of cards including Plot Twists to add a fun dynamic to each round.

Expansion Pack: Smaller decks made to add to a Core Deck to enhance the Would You Watch This experience and customize the content to your personal tastes.

Yes, absolutely, but we wouldn’t recommend it. The Expansion Packs are designed to build on the existing game and if you only own a single Expansion Pack, the reduced number of cards and lack of Plot Twist cards will not be the full experience of the game as it was designed.

Eventually, with the release of more Expansion Packs and a standalone Plot Twist pack, it will be more viable to create a custom “Core Deck” for the same experience, but for now, we recommend the Core Deck and then adding Expansion Packs to it for the best experience.
